NOTICE OF 9 PLANTATION VACANCIES TODAY - SARAWAK OIL PALMS

1. Admin Executive

Requirements:

• Possess a Degree in Business Administration, Management or related field
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in Executive role in Plantation Administration / Operation
• Able to liaise and coordinate with internal and external parties (estates, government agencies, suppliers, contractors)
• Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports and slides

2. Ambulance Driver

Requirements:

• Possess valid D & E license. (PSV license will be an added advantage)
• Proven experience in driving an ambulance vehicle transporting patients, medical supplies, and equipment
• Knowledge of emergency medical procedures and protocols (preferred)
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• Successful candidate will be based in Murum Region (accommodation will be provided)

Job Responsibilities:

• Safely transport patients, medical supplies, and equipment as directed
• Follow all safety guidelines and regulations
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the ambulance
• Assist with general tasks within the estate clinic as needed
• Successful candidate will be based in Murum Region (accommodation will be provided)

3. Field Supervisor

Requirements:

• Possess a minimum of SPM / Certificate in Agriculture / Diploma or any related field
• Involved in the daily supervision of workers handling field operations such as harvesting, upkeep & maintenance and other related field works
• Fresh graduates and fresh SPM school leavers are encouraged to apply as training will be provided for all successful candidates

Job Responsibilities:

• Involved in the daily supervision of workers handling field operations such as harvesting, upkeep & maintenance and other related field works
• Responsible in making sure works carried out by workers are in line with company’s plantation policy and standard
• Fresh graduates and fresh SPM school leavers are encouraged to apply as training will be provided for all successful candidates

4. GPS Operator

Requirements:

• Possess a Certificate / Diploma in Geomatic or related field
• At least 1 year of working experience in conducting ground and aerial survey using GPS devices

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible in conducting ground survey and aerial survey using conventional GPS device, survey equipment and unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV)
• Able to operate MapSource and Quantum GIS (QGIS) or other GIS software and flight planning applications
• Familiar with image processing software such as Agisoft Photoscan Software or others will be an added advantage
• Will be required to drive and travel to estate(s) if needed

5. HR Executive

Requirements:

• Possess a Degree in Human Resources / Business Administration or related field
• At least 2 years of working experience in Executive Role or similar capacity in HR Field
• Knowledgeable and well-versed in HR practices and Sarawak Labor Ordinance

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee recruitment and selection processes, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring new employees for plantation division
• Handle employee relations and resolve any workplace conflicts or issues
• Provide HR support and guidance to managers and employees
• Ensure compliance with all employment laws and regulations

6. Mechanization Manager / SR. Mechanization Assistant Manager

Requirements:

• Possess a Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Automotive Engineering or related disciplines
• At least 3 years of working experience in Supervisory / Managerial Role involving various production, crop evacuation, irrigation & harvesting equipment
• Able to analyze opportunities to enhance the roles of agriculture mechanization in sustainable agriculture intensification
• Able to implement, monitor and evaluate agriculture mechanization programs & projects to increase its efficiency and productivity

7. Medical Assistant

Requirements:

• Possess at least a Diploma in Medical Assistant & must be a Member of Medical Assistant Board Malaysia
• Preferably at least 2 years of working experiences in related field
• Good communication in both Bahasa Malaysia & English
• Successful candidate will be based in Beluru Region
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply for the position

Job Responsibilities:

• Examine and treats minor ailments
• Perform clinical tasks/procedures – provide inoculations, sterilizing supplies and instruments and performed minor surgery such as lancing and draining local infection
• Prepare medical requisitions and issuance of medicines
• Successful candidate will be based in Beluru Region (accommodation will be provided)

8. Plantation Controller / Assistant Plantation Controller

Requirements:

• Possess a Diploma / Degree in Agricultural Science / Forestry / Plantation Management
• At least 10 – 15 years of hands-on working experience and familiar with field operational management

Job Responsibilities:

• Possess the ability of formulating and planning budgets, quality control and financial functions
• Monitor, control and evaluate all plantation activities to ensure implementation in accordance with the work plan and budget that have been established and in accordance with the strategic plan of the company
• Identify and recommend improvements in the management of plantation and lead the implementation of improvements so as to improve the overall performance of plantation
• Monitor and control the implementation of operational activities and the use of budget periodically to ensure activities are conducted in accordance with the work plan and budget
• Highly independent, multi-tasking, meticulous, agile, precise, and able to evaluate projects or assignments

9. Site Supervisor

Requirements:

• Possess at least a Diploma in Civil Engineering / Building / Construction Management or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in building construction site supervision
• Successful candidate will be based in Beluru Region

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for site work coordination, management supervision at the site and monitoring the quality of work to ensure compliance with specifications and in accordance to work on progress in line with the construction schedule
• Monitor daily site activities and report to the Project Manager Progress work.
• Coordinate the maintenance and defect rectification works
• Successful candidate will be based in Beluru Region (accommodation will be provided)
