Job Purpose:
The Business Development Executive is responsible for driving the growth of S PAY GLOBAL through strategic user and merchant acquisition, partner and agent management, lead generation initiatives, and market intelligence gathering. This role plays a key part in aligning business development efforts with organizational goals, enhancing stakeholder engagement, supporting revenue-generating strategies, and contributing to the long-term sustainability and success of S PAY GLOBAL.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Promote S PAY GLOBAL to potential users and merchants to drive onboarding and platform adoption
- Plan, organize, and participate in lead generation activities, including referral programs, cold calls, business networking, community events, and agent engagement efforts.
- Coordinate and execute marketing and sales campaigns, including exhibitions, roadshows, and public talks to promote S PAY GLOBAL’s products and services.
- Recruit and onboard users and merchants with thorough due diligence, ensuring achievement of both short- and long-term acquisition goals.
- Manage and maintain business accounts, ensuring consistent stakeholder engagement aligned with SPG’s strategic vision.
- Oversee and support agent and agency operations to ensure effective merchant recruitment and ongoing relationship management, meeting established timelines and standards.
- Gather and report market intelligence, including insights on industry trends, competitor activities, and user feedback to support product and strategic planning.
- Identify and implement revenue-generating opportunities in alignment with the e-Wallet business strategy.
- Collaborate with internal teams and report to management, ensuring all business development initiatives align with company priorities and operational goals.
- Undertake special assignments or projects as directed by Management to support the overall objectives of S PAY GLOBAL.
Minimum Work Experience:
A minimum of 3 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field.
Academic Qualification:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or any relevant field.
Special Requirements:
Must be flexible and adaptable to dynamic work schedules, assignments, and market conditions.
Skills & Knowledge:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a proven track record in customer acquisition, account management, and stakeholder relations.
- Experience in business development, project management, and event planning.
- Skilled in market analysis, including identifying trends and translating insights into actionable strategies.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and capable of producing high-quality reports and presentations.
- Able to craft compelling written content for internal communications, proposals, and external presentations.
