KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Lead support for the EHV (Data) network services, including administering network operations and managing/coordinating major and minor break-fix activities through the timely delivery of quality services to maximize service availability and cost-effectiveness.
- Lead support for the Network Analysis tool and Network Management/Monitoring Systems (NMS), including network performance monitoring, proactive fault detection and root cause analysis, alert management, reporting, and the resolution of network-related incidents and service degradation issues within IT network environments.
- Assist in the administration, support, and operation of network infrastructure services, including managing/coordinating major and minor break-fix activities through the timely delivery of quality IT services to maximize availability and cost-effectiveness, covering the following areas:
• Wide Area Network (WAN)
• Local Area Network (LAN)

• Firewalls - Provide support and ensure service deliverables within the unit's scope meet established SLA requirements and comply with approved policies, procedures, guidelines, information security standards, and business continuity requirements. - Assist in budgeting, procurement, asset management, vendor management, and contract administration activities related to IT network operations.
- Participate in technical evaluation and solution implementation activities, including requirements gathering, solution assessment, proof-of-concept (POC) exercises, vendor coordination, technical proposal review, and project deployment.
- To support Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity Planning (BCP) initiatives and annual drill.
- Assist the Data Centre Administration team in managing the operational aspects of network racks within Data Centre and IT Hub facilities to ensure an optimal operating environment on a 24x7 basis, including:
• Rack space management
• Temperature and humidity monitoring
• Structured cabling and labelling - Develop and maintain technical documentation, including guidelines, procedures, manuals, standards, glossaries, network diagrams, configuration records, and other operational documentation to support effective service delivery and knowledge management.
- Additional technical requirements
• Relevant professional certifications from Cisco, Huawei, HPE Aruba, Fortinet, Palo Alto Networks, Juniper, or other equivalent industry-recognized certifications are an added advantage.
• Experience or familiarity with with multi-vendor network infrastructure, network monitoring/analysis tools (Netscout, Zabbix, Grafana), troubleshooting, fault management, and service restoration.
• Good knowledge of fiber optic and structured cabling infrastructure, including single-mode, multi-mode, and Cat6A cabling.
THINKING ENVIRONMENT:
- Manage the SEB network to ensure minimum downtime for the SEB ICT WAN, LAN, WLAN, EHV and Internet with commitment to ensure the system is always available to the users 24 x 7 (internal and external). This frequently requires work to be done after office hours.

QUALIFICATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Responsible to ensure the smooth execution of building operations and maintenance works in the FM division, including initiating, planning, and processing tender documents, including floating tenders, monitoring and controlling activities, and overseeing the commissioning of building operations and maintenance works.
• Collaborate with the team to identify and execute service improvements, repairs, and maintenance projects within approved budgets and schedules, adhering to corporate departmental and divisional BSC and KPI.
• Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures (SOP) and best practices for building the "Operations & Maintenance" business unit, following SEB's guidelines.

• Act as a focal point at the Station to report on defects, malfunctions, and requests to "Sarawak Energy Facility Management" (SEFM) within the designated building boundaries.
• Promote the use of Sarawak Energy Facilities Management (SEFM) for reporting building-related defects and monitoring rectification status.
• Be familiar with emergency exit routes within buildings and assist in evacuation procedures when necessary.
• Understand and manage OPEX, CAPEX, asset items, expense items, and asset disposal items. Propose, execute, monitor, and control expenditures within approved budgets.
